you want will fit.
Our diffusers are a direct OEM replacement
- no drilling, cutting or modifying anything
on the car.
Our diffusers work with the stock rear panel/grills
on your Elise/Exige/211. They also work with
all of the rear panel eliminators on the market.
Our diffusers do NOT work with the Jim Clayton
Jack Helper. If you want a diffuser that does
work with the Jim Clayton Jack Helper, let
us know and we can shorten the fins down from
front to back for you for a small additional
fee.
3)
Do you make diffusers with an exhaust hole
cut-out?
All of our 3 and 5 element diffusers have
the option to have an exhaust hole cut-out.
Our 7 element diffusers fins don't allow room
for an exhaust hole cutout. We can make you
a diffuser that has no exhaust hole cut-out
if you have an exhaust that exits on the top
of the diffuser. We also carry exhaust hole
cover plates to bolt on over your existing
exhaust hole cut-out if you upgrade to a new
exhaust. When purchasing a diffuser from our
website, you have the option to select YES
or NO for an exhaust hole cut-out. Our exhaust
hole cutouts are large enough to accommodate
the stock exhaust tips and supercharged exhaust
tips. The Stage II cutout is roughly 8 inches
wide - and that's the width of our exhaust
hole cutout.
4)
What diffuser is right for me?
It all depends on what you want your car to
look like and how you want it to perform.
All of our diffusers provide a substantial
amount of improvement over the stock OEM diffuser
on your car. If you are a casual driver that
doesn't track or race your car, then we would
recommend the Original or Railer Jr depending
on your taste. If you do track your car, we
would recommend the Railer for it's longer
fins, and longer body.
5)
Will the diffuser scrape on the ground over
bumps/hills?
Here are the clearance measurements for our
diffusers on stock suspension. (aprox).
Lotus Elise, Exige
3 Element Original - 5 Inches off ground,
parallel to surface.
5 Element Original - 5 Inches off ground,
parallel to surface.
7 Element Original - 5 Inches off ground,
parallel to surface.
5 Element Railer Jr - 5 Inches off ground,
parallel to surface.
7 Element Railer Jr - 5 Inches off ground,
parallel to surface.
5 Element Railer - 4 Inches off ground, parallel
to surface.
7 Element Railer - 4 Inches off ground, parallel
to surface.
Lotus
Evora
7 Element - Same height as the rest of the
car.
*Different suspension, tire pressure and
ground surfaces will change the measurements
slightly.
If the front end of your Lotus clears an incline,
then the back end will clear it too. Our diffusers
are very durable and can handle bad curb rash
and hard hits. Be cautious and take inclines
at angles.
6)
How difficult is it to install the diffuser?
It's very simple installing our diffusers
on your car. Simply unbolt your current diffuser.
Save the nuts and bolts because you will be
using them again to install your new Difflow
diffuser. Bolt on your new Difflow diffuser
and you're done. Our diffusers are a direct
OEM replacement - which means you don't have
to drill, cut or modify anything on your car.
The overall process takes about 30 minutes
with a socket wrench.
6)
Do you provide instructions and hardware to
install the diffuser?
Yes. Instructions are included. There is no
hardware included - because you will use the
same hardware that your stock diffuser used
to install the Difflow diffuser. That means,
save every washer, but and bolt from the uninstallation
of your stock/other diffuser.

7)
Do you provide the rubber edging that was
originally on my stock diffuser?
Our diffusers do not come with the same rubber
edging that the factory put on your stock
diffuser. It interrupts the airflow of the
car. If you are interested in putting rubber
edging on your Difflow diffuser, you certainly
can. Some of our customers use ''door edge
guard'' or ''door edge trim.'' You can buy
it at any autoparts store and simply put it
on the fins/body of your Difflow diffuser.
You may want to use some black silicone to
hold it in place. Here is an example.
8)
How long does it take to receive my diffuser
after I order it?
After we receive payment, we ship our diffusers
within 48 hours. If we are out of stock, you
will be notified and given a time frame for
when your diffuser will be complete. It generally
takes 2 weeks for a diffuser to be completed.
All diffusers are shipped Fedex Ground. If
you need the diffuser faster, let us know
and we can arrange to ship the diffuser by
Air.
If
you have any more questions, please contact
us
and ask.
